DUDLEY Zoo is inviting early risers to shadow its keepers and wake up some of the world’s rarest animals.

On Sunday, September 9 the zoo is offering an early morning guided tour to give visitors the opportunity to see its exotic animals up close and personal.

The tour kicks off at 8.45am and allows people to see how keepers care for the animals and learn more about the vital conservation work carried out at the award-winning attraction.

Marketing manager, Andrea Hales, said: “The two-hour tour is a fun morning when people can follow keepers as they go about their daily duties of feeding, cleaning and caring for animals at our busy zoo.

“And once the early morning experience has finished visitors can spend the rest of the day exploring the zoo at their leisure.”

Tickets cost £40 for adults and £30 for children. Children must be aged eight or above and those under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

A breakfast bap and hot drink in the Queen Mary Restaurant is included at the end of the tour.

Places, which are limited, need to be booked online by clicking here or calling 01384 215313.
