PIONEERING Herefordshire woman Elizabeth Banks is being celebrated at a prestigious photography exhibition in London.
Elizabeth Banks, who lives in Kington, is the first woman president of the Royal Horticultural Society and is one 100 women to feature in a collection of portraits at the Royal College of Art, celebrating women who were the first in their fields.
First Women UK, features the portraits of women in sport, the media, the military, art, faith, music and politics and includes portraits of First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon and Olympic gold medal winner Nicola Adams.
The portraits have been taken by celebrated photographer Anita Corbin as part of a ten year project to mark the centenary of the Representation of the People Act, which gave property owning women over 30 the vote and paved the way for universal suffrage.
First Women UK is currently on display at the Royal College of Art until August 22.
