LADS Club manager Danny Moon is pleased with the shape of his side after they made it three wins from three with a 2-0 victory over Pegasus Juniors in the Hereford derby on Monday night.

Kiea Cowley netted his second brace in a week as the Widemarsh Common side dominated their city counterparts.

After a close first half Cowley opened the scoring after 72 minutes cutting in from the right and curling his shot into the top corner. The Lads Club marksman sealed the victory 11 minutes later tapping home after the goalkeeper parried an initial effort.

Cowley could have had his hat-trick but rattled the bar with his spot kick.

"It probably took a bit longer to score the goals than we needed to," said Moon.

"Kiea has hit a bit of form and has started to get his shots off."

Lads Club have won all three of their opening league games after also winning 3-0 victory over Shifnal Town last Saturday and Moon hopes that they can repeat their performance against AFC Bridgnorth this weekend.

"We're just taking it game by game and looking at the bigger picture," added Moon.

"We've got a good squad and so are going to have to rotate and keep people happy. The best thing for me is keeping three clean sheets and the whole team defensively.

"If we turn up again like last Saturday there are not many teams close to us."
