Bigger and better and not just burgers.  This year’s BBQ begins at 4pm on

Monday, August 27th and the main action takes place in the orchard opposite the Red Lion Inn; unless it is raining when the event moves to the village hall.   There’s plenty of parking nearby and heaps to do and look at while you work up an appetite.  The licensed bar will be serving prosecco, wine, beer, cider and soft drinks and there’s tea and coffee up in the village hall.

Food is served from 4:30.  The fish option was such a huge success last year that we are bringing it back bigger than ever, for the traditionalist there are the ever popular chicken and beef dishes and there’s always something for the vegetarians out there.  And of course every meal comes with a range of delicious salads, sauces and breads.

This year, the village hall is once again host to an exhibition and sale of work produced by the Bredwardine Art Group.  Doors open at 1pm and there’s tea, coffee and cake while you browse the art and maybe talk with the artists.

The big BBQ raffle will be drawn around 7:30 and, as always, there are some smashing prizes.  So make sure you get a ticket or two and remember that all proceeds go towards the running of our wonderful village hall.  It looks like a good day so see you there.
