A GROUP of Hereford Couriers took part in the Herefordshire 10,000 metre track championships recently coming away with medals and personal best times.
The race saw runners compete over 25 gruelling laps of the Hereford Leisure Centre's athletics track.
Runners were faced with a headwind all the way along the back straight but the Couriers dug deep to pick up medals and personal bests on the night.
Clare Mallender picked up a silver medal in the women's event coming home in 46 minute and 36 seconds.
Ross Cameron was also in the medals picking up to pick up second in the junior men's category in a time of 42.00.
Meanwhile Chris Cleary and Ben Skinner worked together to pick up personal best performances with the former recording his first sub 40 minute 10km run in 39:53 and Skinner taking his best time down by another 40 seconds to 40,33.
Will Maul had another good run on return from injury stopping the watch on 42.38 while Kev Barnes finished in 52 minutes.
