ONE of the biggest dates in the rural calendar returns this weekend.
The Herefordshire County Fair celebrates its 40th year at Caradoc, near Ross-on-Wye, having been held on the King George V Playing Fields last summer.
Sunday's entertainment will be centred around three showrings and includes terrier racing, a stunt riders' show and an farming-related obstacle course for the county’s Young Farmers to take part in.
Also for this year there will be an Act of Remembrance to commemorate the role of animals in World War One in winning the war.
Organisers say there will also be 100 trade stands with plenty of opportunity for shopping in the craft marquee and food hall.
