HEREFORD are still searching for a second goalkeeper after trialist Jahquil Hill made himself unavailable for Tuesday night’s game against Evesham United.

Bulls manager Pete Beadle had planned to give Hill a chance to prove himself at the Jubille Stadium.

However, the Bermudan international made himself unavailable for the match and was rumoured to be the trialist goalkeeper playing for Wrexham AFC.

“He was supposed to play here tonight but I got told that he couldn’t make it so that’s the end of that one, said Beadle.

“Unfortunately he is away at the moment with his club so we can’t do anything with him, added Beadle.

“He will be back on Saturday so hopefully we can get it done in time for Forest Green (on Wednesday).

“We are still looking but I’m still happy with what we’ve got. We’re still waiting for Jimmy (Oates) to come back Mike (McGrath) to come back and Elliot (Richards) has just come back after 10 days with no training and no games and has played today.

“We’re not too far off where we need to be maybe an addition or two and we’ll be there.”
