ON Saturday, July 7 the Treorchy Male Choir came to the Knighton Community Centre to undertake a performance for the Knighton Rotary Club's charitable efforts in the community.
With the attendance of nearly 340 guests the evening was a great success, even given the heat in auditorium.
Rotary president Ivan Jones said after the event "All our members wish to thank everyone for their support before, during and after the concert. We are pleased to say that we have raised enough money to make donations to the Wales and Midlands Air Ambulances and to a number of local charities that would benefit from our support".
There was great feedback from audience members and the choir who thoroughly enjoyed the evening in the newly refurbished Community Centre and would welcome an invitation to return in the future.
