A HALF century from opener Dan Gale and unbeaten 67 from Brandon Caffull helped Ledbury to their maiden victory of the GB Liners Marches Division Two as they posted a target of 220-7.

In response Thomas Genders’ 68 was the only respectable score for Knighton on Teme and thanks to bowling figures of 3-13 for Stephen Large and 2-27 for Caffull they finish on 153-7.

Canon Frome suffered a blow in their bid for Division Two glory when they were beaten by title rivals Glangrwyney.

After electing to bat the Heywood Lane hosts struggled due to bowling figures of 5-26 for Julian Hardwick with opener Sam Pratley top scoring on 26 on their way to 132 all out.
