AS the father to twins, Olly Kitching knows more than most how hard it is for parents to find the time to exercise.

But as a professional fitness instructor, it is fair to say he has a personal reason to fend off the 'dad bod'.

And so the Hereford lad has now started Fitness 4 Parents to give some specialist motivation to mums and dads to lose weight.

Classes will be starting on the King George V Playing fields in July and largely be made up of cardio, weights and group activities.

Mr Kitching said many mothers and fathers find it difficult to keep fit when raising children as their priorities and responsibilities change.

But he hoped the regular lessons would make it easier for parents to plan and find the time for a workout.

"It will hopefully give people the excuse to escape for an hour for a fun but challenging workout and stop any dadbods developing and help to reduce the mum tum," he added.

He admits that the 7am Sunday starting time would put off many of his age group but added that most parents are more than used to the early mornings.
