DEFENDERS Ryan Green and Jimmy Oates are the latest players to agree terms with Hereford FC ahead of their National League North campaign.

Centre-half Green, aged 37, had rejected an initial offer by the club before agreeing terms tonight.

Oates who was integral to the league championship victory last season making 55 appearances has also agreed a new contract tonight.

“I’m really pleased that both players have agreed to stay here for the coming season,” said manager Pete Beadle speaking to the Hereford FC website.

“They were both key members of the team last season, and are both very positive influences both on and off the pitch.

“The squad is really starting to come together now, hopefully, we will be able to add another face or two at some stage next week.”

No news on the future of striker John Mills has been released after he too rejected an initial offer.
