A FIRE in a wheelie bin outside a home in Whitecross is being treated as suspicious.
There was a police presence in Montgomery Street in Hereford yesterday morning.
Police tape was put around a house and there was a police officer stood outside.
Police sergeant Frank Real said: “We were called to Montgomery Street on Thursday, May 31 at 5:39am.
"There was a wheelie bin on fire outside of the front of the property. We are treating the fire as suspicious with enquiries still ongoing.”
The fire service was in attendance.
