PUPILS at Much Birch CofE Primary School joined in with the royal wedding celebrations by holding a tea party of their own.
On the last day of term the whole school got involved to celebrate the union of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
They delayed the celebrations so year 2 pupils could finish their SATs.
Teacher Natalie Powell said: "As Meghan Markle is from a mixed race family we spent the day looking at weddings from different cultures.
"The children made traditional wedding items in the morning and then in the afternoon families of the children were invited to a tea party."
The children dressed up in their finery for the day. Mrs Powell added: "It has been a lovely day - busy - but lovely."
