The Royal British Legion's Silent Soldier campaign honours British troops who fought and died in the First World War, 100 years ago.

Silhouettes of First World War soldiers have been popping up in gardens, fields and roundabouts across the country, as well as fixed on buildings, in remembrance of those who died.

Hereford company Prometheus Medical is proud to sponsor a RBL Silent Soldier, which has been located at the company's HQ in Hope-under-Dinmore.

"Every time I pass the Silent Soldier on my way to work I reflect on those friends and colleagues who sadly died doing their duty," employee Paul Cooper said.

"As one of a small number of ex-service personnel working at Prometheus Medical Ltd it is very much appreciated to see the company remembering those who have fallen during their military service."

Prometheus Medical encourages anybody wishing to do so to visit the Silent Soldier and pay their respects.
