A MAN who has been reported missing may have been seen in the Withington area of Herefordshire.

Police said Matthew Bone is originally from Portsmouth but is known to have travelled up to the Midlands recently.

The 26-year-old enjoys walking and was thought to have been in the Malvern Hills area on Thursday, March 8 before spending time in Callow End on Friday, March 9.

Police have now received new information which suggests he may be in the Withington area.

Officers believe he may be sleeping rough or may have been offered accommodation.

Matthew is described as white, around 5ft7ins, of slim build, with brown hair and blue/grey coloured eyes.

It is not known what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

Police said Matthew's family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.

Officers are urging people to check any outbuildings or sheds in their gardens as they try to locate Matthew.
