TAYLOR Wimpey West Midlands has donated £50 in book vouchers to Upton-upon-Severn C of E Primary School in Worcester to celebrate World Book Day.

Head Julie Wills said: “I would like to say a big thank you to Taylor Wimpey on behalf of everyone at our school. We really appreciate their donation, which will go a long way towards new reading material.

"Books are a great way to fire up children’s imaginations and to teach them about the world around them, so we are delighted that we are able to add some new titles to our school library.”

Tina Walker of Taylor Wimpey, which is building a development at Pennywell Walk in the town said: “As part of our commitment to giving back to the communities in which we build, it was our pleasure to donate 30 books and £50 in book vouchers to the school.

"We recognise how valuable it is for young children to enjoy reading and hope that the new books will inspire the children and fuel their imaginations.”
