THE centre of Malvern blanketed by snow on Saturday night proved to be an inspiration for Jan Sedlacek of Digitlight.

Mr Sedlacek decided to dedicate the pictures he took in Priory Park and of the Priory itself to the memory of his friend Dudley Brook, a well-known Malvern resident who had died earlier that day.

He said: "The right conditions I was hoping for materialised on Saturday night. No wind, fresh sticky wet snow covering trees and bushes, bit of mist mixed with very light snowy drizzle, street lights and Malvern gas lamps illuminating the white night beauty, a simply perfect mixture of elements to play with.

"So I could not resist and had to venture through that magical wardrobe again for another precious photo shoot in Narnia.

"In memory of my dear friend Dudley Brook who sadly passed away on the same day, I took these photographs.

"So these are for you Dudley! Take care up there and enjoy the new era flying free exploring the universe and beyond."
