MALVERN Citizens Advice Bureau has a new home, right next door to the Prospect View Medical Centre.

The move marks a step forward for the bureau, which was formerly based on the trading estate at Malvern Link.

Citizens Advice South Worcestershire chief officer Karen Edwards said: “We’re very excited about moving to new premises as we want to be easily accessible to the community we serve.

"Our aim is not so much to solve our clients’ problems as to help our clients solve them for themselves.

"Like all Citizens Advice Bureaus throughout the country, we are a totally independent charity relying on the support of local organisations, both public and private, and of local people. The more financial support we get, the more help we can offer to everyone in the community.”

From their new home, the bureau staff will continue to offer advice on and huge range of issues, encompassing everything from problems with energy providers, mobile phone contracts, jobs, housing and welfare benefits. Last year, the Malvern office provided help to over 3,000 local people.

To coincide with the move, Citizens Advice South Worcestershire is developing its new website. If you want to find out more about what they can offer, how to contact them or how you or your organisation could support them, visit citizensadvicesw.org.uk.
