They went on to have two children, Roger in 1949, and Janet (now Davies) in 1952.
Mrs Davies said: "I know my mum always says, 'Never go to bed angry.' I think think they have both had separate interests but are both very good friends."

Mr Adams was also a morris dancer, while Mrs Adams ran a brownie pack at All Saints.
Mrs Davies said: "They are very busy. Mum, even now, stills works at Acorns charity shop in town. They both go to an art group at Bartestree."
During Mr Adams' career he worked a tinsmith, a mechanical engineer and a panel beater.
Mrs Adams has worked for Bulmers, Hereford Herd Book Society and Hereford County Hospital.
To celebrate their anniversary the couple, who have five grandchildren, are going out for a family afternoon tea.
