THE joy of Christmas came to Hereford's Old Market on a night when hundreds of pounds were raised for Breast Cancer Haven.
Organised by Harrison Clark Rickerbys, donkeys mixed with carol singers to create a truly festive atmosphere at at Debenhams.
More than 350 clients, friends and guests flocked to the store to enjoy a fashion show, carols from Lucton School Chamber Choir, and take part in a charity raffle.
Matt Hayes, head of the firm’s Hereford office, said: “A massive thank you to everyone who got involved in organising the event, in helping out at it and in coming along to support.
"The feedback I had was hugely positive and it is hard to see any reason why we wouldn’t do it all again next year!”
Josh Holford, Debenhams’ store manager, said: “Not only was the event successful for us as a store, it gave local businesses and charities a platform to gain exposure and raise money for an extremely worthy cause.”
