A NORTH Herefordshire village is set to introduce measures to slow down traffic.
Aymestrey Parish Council is due to introduce village gates, marking the entry and exit of the village on the A4110, and resurfacing work which will involve the changing of road
markings.
Construction materials company, Breedon Group, which operates the nearby Leinthall Earls Quarry, has donated funds towards the project.
Breedon’s Regional Director, Clive Rillstone said: “As a supportive local stakeholder located just a couple of miles from the village, we are delighted to make this contribution to Aymestrey Parish Council.
"We hope it will help to ensure the speedy completion of the scheme, which will hopefully bring many benefits to the village community.”
