RELAXATION and therapies workshops raised £164 for those affected by cancer recently.

Yeleni Therapy & Support Complementary Health Centre and local care company, Kemble at Home, welcomed visitors to their sessions as part of National Stress Awareness Day.

Sandra Taylor, from Kemble at Home said: “Working with Yeleni on events like this is a huge privilege for us as they are such a great charity and also support the work we do with our clients affected by cancer. Yeleni offer help to those affected by cancer, but also anyone who requires de-stressing from everyday life.

“We joined forces with Yeleni on November 1, to demonstrate that the stress can be dealt with and managed through a variety of techniques. We held three workshops but also offered taster therapy sessions, which were a great opportunity for people to try different therapies they may not be familiar with.

“The atmosphere was great and some of us even learnt the basics of crocheting. Most importantly, however, we raised money which will pay for more complementary sessions for somebody battling with cancer.”

Yeleni Therapy & Support Complementary Health Centre are a charity offering free therapy sessions to anyone affected by cancer, but they also offer therapies to everyone else. So, whether you want a back massage, reflexology or a few hypnotherapy sessions, £10 of the money you pay for your treatment will go towards supporting Yeleni’s charity work.

Kemble at Home and Yeleni plan to continue working together, offering Herefordshire residents both physical and emotional support.
