A FREE children's party has been organised to celebrate 125 years of the NSPCC branch in Herefordshire.

The party will take place at the Shire Hall in Hereford for 150 children on November 10 straight after school.

Some invites have already been sent out but parents can now apply for further tickets.

Chairman of the Herefordshire branch, Lucy Hurds, said they wanted to organise a party specifically for children.

Co-op and Tesco are providing the food and Lucy is now looking for children's entertainers, face painters and helpers, who can provide their services free of charge, to help make the event a memorable one.

Anyone able to help is asked to contact Lucy directly on 07827011611 or via email at Lhurds@aol.com.

The party is for primary school children. To apply for tickets email Lucy.
