THE South Herefordshire Dowsers' final public talk of the season was by Karen L French, author, artist and mathematician, whose work combines her talents in the form of sacred geometry.

Geometrical shapes 'give form to the formless' explains Karen. Because they embody abstract concepts, they enable us to communicate these to others. Their 'sacred' aspect is that these concepts concern the relationship between heaven and earth and the nature of divinity, which is why they appear in so many different cultures.

As a contrast to the intellectual approach, the audience were also amazed to see the results when they tried and tested simple martial arts techniques which increase physical muscle performance using visualisation.

The South Herefordshire Dowsers' public talks at Aston Ingham Village Hall will recommence in the spring.
