A 56-YEAR-old man has been given a suspended prison sentence for attacking his neighbours.
Shaun McCormick, from Eardisley, assaulted his neighbours, Ricky Baker and James Cassidy, at their home.
He pleaded guilty to assaulting a person thereby causing them actual bodily harm and assault by beating.
At Hereford Crown Court on Friday, McCormick was given 20 months in prison, suspended for two years, and for the assault by beating charge he was given four months in prison, suspended for two years, to run concurrently.
He was ordered to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work, pay compensation of £1,800, a victim surcharge of £140 and costs of £415.
McCormick was also given a restraining order for five years to not get in contact with Mr Baker or Mr Cassidy.
