MONTY Don, Gardener’s World host and Patron of Herefordshire Wildlife Trust, will be the after-dinner speaker at a fundraising evening, held in aid of the Trust, at Burton Court near Eardisland.
In his speech on September 1, Monty will discuss the important role gardens play in wildlife conservation across Herefordshire and nationally.
On becoming patron of Herefordshire Wildlife Trust, this year Monty said he "wholeheartedly supports the wide range of excellent work in conserving and celebrating the county’s astonishingly rich and varied wildlife".
The evening will also include a ‘silent auction’ with gifts on offer from many prestigious Herefordshire businesses including Castle House Hotel, Herbfarmacy, Hereford Races, Richard Weaver Photographer, the Courtyard, Newton Court cider, Herefordshire Glamping, Henryka, Manuell & Barber and Whitney Toll Bridge.
Herefordshire Wildlife Trust’s Events Officer Stas Calder commented: “Tickets have been selling very fast with just a limited number remaining on the run up to the night.”
