THE Ministry of Defence has said a number of aircraft types, including Tornadoes and Harriers, will fly over the Marches and parts of Wales next week.

It is part of Exercise Wycombe Warrior, which provides training for a number of ground and sea procedures, and observers may catch a glimpse of Mirage, Phantom, F-16 and A10 aircraft during the two-day exercise next Wednesday and Thursday (18th and 19th).

Flying is expected to take place from 8.30am until 3am on each day and until 4am in parts of Wales.

Some of the aircraft will fly at low level, which the MOD say is necessary to achieve the aims of the exercise. They also add that any disturbance is regretted.
