A WEOBLEY shop was the first official stop for two young cyclists on a 1,000 mile charity bike ride.
Ross Jackson and James Wood, both of Nottinghamshire, are riding from Land's End to John O'Groats to raise money for Devon Air Ambulance and Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance services, both of which are funded solely by public money.
The duo stopped off at RE Williams on Monday for refreshments, before continuing with their 12 day journey, cheered on by the Beefy' and Lamby' characters from the English Beef & Lamb Executive's television advertising campaign.
