MEGAN Baker House is to feature on Tonight with Trevor McDonald to highlight how charities will lose out on funding due to the London Olympics.

A production crew from the ITV1 series recently spent the morning at the charity's centre near Leominster filming the children and interviewing parents and staff for the episode - Olympic Backlash.

Kirstie Lee from Megan Baker House said: "The issues we focussed on during the filming really inolves the diversion of National Lottery funding to pay for the London Olympics, leaving little in the pot for charitable causes."

The 2012 London Olympics have been embroiled in controversy due to spiralling costs and rows over the £400,000 logo and the Tonight team uses Megan Baker House as just one example of how the real cost of the Olympics is detrimental to other sectors around the country.

The episode will be screened on ITV1 on Monday, July 16 at 8pm.
