A BROMYARD Downs project exhibition starts this Saturday morning.
For the past three years, the Bromyard Downs Common Association and Herefordshire Wildlife Trust have been working with Heritage Lottery Funding on the Bromyard Downs Project.
The project aimed to equip the association and the community to safeguard the future of the common for people and wildlife.
The exhibition will showcase the Downs- past, present and future, with historical memorabilia from Brockhampton School, the Second World War bunkers, racecourse, rifle butts and golf course, features on the project and what happens next.
The exhibition opening is on Saturday, March 11 from 11am to 1pm, with tea and cake and an introduction to the exhibition plus a short performance piece from the Conquest Theatre juniors and oral history interviewees.
The exhibition runs at the Bromyard History Centre until April 28.
