GEORGE Bartlett roared to victory in the final round of Hereford Wheelers’ 2016 race series.
The KTM rider took first place after blasting his way around the course in 22 minutes and 48 seconds.
NFTO rider Paul Evans was just behind, claiming second spot in 23:06 and was closely followed by Climb on Bikes’ Jonathan Barnes in 23:08.
Wheeler Katie Price clocked 24:42 to win the women’s race from team-mate Christie Jones in 24:54.
Hereford Tri Club’s Kylie Mansfield finished fourth in 25:26.
The two youngest riders in the race also returned excellent times with 14-year-old Daniel North recording 35:47 and 12-year-old Billy Thomas coming home in 38:19.
Wheelers are holding their Haugh Wood hill-climb tonight, starting at 6.30pm, with signing-on taking place beforehand at the top car park.
