A MAN in his 70s has died after falling on a bus in Ledbury.
The man boarded the number 132 double-decker bus on Ledbury High Street and made his way up the stairs to the upper deck.
It is believed he fell backwards down the stairs before the bus moved off.
The fall happened on Saturday, July 16.
West Midlands Ambulance Service took the man to Hereford County Hospital on the day of the fall, but he later died in hospital on Tuesday, August 2.
Police officers would like to hear from anyone who was travelling on the bus at the time and may have seen the man in the moments leading up to the fall.
The fall happened at around 9.05am on the Gloucester-bound bus which the man boarded outside the Market House in the High Street.
Anyone with any information is urged to call police on 101, quoting incident number 452s of 4 August.
