THE sale of Hereford's Three Counties Hotel to new owners has finally gone through.

The Hereford Times reported in November that contract negotiations were taking place and it is now in the hands of the new owners.

The 60-bedroom purpose-built hotel in Belmont Road has been sold on behalf of Daniel Price and his family, who have owned and operated the hotel since 1995.

The new owners, Harry Harrison and his family from Oxfordshire, will invest in this well-established business.

Manager Michelle Standell and her staff will continue to operate the business alongside the Harrison family.

Jonathan Hill, who handled the sale on behalf of Christie & Co, said: “We are delighted to announce the sale of what is a landmark hotel in Herefordshire.

“The market is very buoyant in the county, and we are seeing a lot of interest in businesses such as these across the region."
