A MAN was taken to hospital after police were called to Hereford's Asda superstore yesterday.
Officers were at the supermarket, off Belmont Road, just before 6am following concerns for the welfare of an 18-year-old man.
A taser was used by police to prevent the man causing injury to himself - and others - and he was taken to hospital for treatment.
A spokesman for Asda said the incident was handled by police and the company was unable to comment.
