Two crews from Leominster and Kingsland attended a fire at a heavily smoked-logged property in Millers Close in Leominster at 11.44am.

An ambulance was called to attend to a male casualty suffering from smoke inhalation and firefighters, who used breathing apparatus, then ventilated the property.

Firefighters were later called to another cooker fire in Bromyard.

Two crews from Bromyard were called to a smoked-filled flat in Old Road at 2.09pm. No-one was found in the property and slight damage was caused to the cooker.
