The new road will provide a link between Commercial Road and Edgar Street
DIGGERS have begun demolishing a former petrol station to make way for the £27m Hereford link road.
Work was underway this morning at the BP garage on Edgar Street as part of the plan to build a new link with Commercial Road.
Herefordshire Council believe the road, which will cross Widemarsh Street, will take away traffic from Blueschool Street and Newmarket Street.
