PEOPLE can have their blood pressure tested in Hereford's High Town on Saturday.
Shoppers and all passers by are invited to stop and see how they fare.
The Rotary Club of the City of Hereford is marking National Stroke Awareness Day by inviting people to take the test.
They will have a caravan in the city centre and no appointment is needed.
Blood pressure, a key to people's health is a measure of the force with which the blood presses on the walls of the arteries as it is pumped around the body.
For normal adults it should be less than around 140/90. If it is consistently over 140/90, or 140/85 if you have diabetes, it is classed as high blood pressure, known as hypertension.
A quick check at the Rotary Club caravan in High Town will guide people as to whether they need to seek medical advice.
