Renault has partnered surf and activity clothing specialist Rip Curl to introduce a special edition which is available with both three and five-doors, as well as with two engine choices, 1.2 16V 75 petrol and 1.5 dCi 68 diesel.

If that's not swell enough, just like a surfboard, Clio Rip Curl offers value for money, is economical to run and is in a low 2E insurance group. Yet, the Rip Curl is based on the popular Dynamique trim, so has the sporty and stylish looks you would expect from a Renault. Touches include body-coloured electric-heated door mirrors, leather steering wheel, leather gear knob with satin chrome insert, electric front windows, see me home' headlamps, 60:40 split folding rear seats, three rear headrests and 15" Mahonia' alloy wheels as standard.

And for some good vibrations during those drives to the beach, there's a 2x15W radio CD MP3 compatible player with two speakers, two tweeters and fingertip remote controls with multi-function TunePoint connection compatible with MP3 players such as iPods.

In addition, surf fans can expect eye-catching Rip Curl styling inside and out, including hard-wearing neoprene seat trim. Added touches to cater for the great outdoors include front rubber mats and rigid rubber bootspace protector with compartment tray.

As you'd expect from a car which has the maximum five-star safety rating for occupant safety from independent crash test organisation Euro NCAP, Clio Rip Curl has ABS with EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution), and front lateral airbags.

The Rip Curl comes in seven colours, including the metallic body colour of Ice Blue - the first time this has appeared on a Clio.

Five option packs are available on the Rip Curl, including the City Pack Plus priced at £1,200. This includes automatic lights and windscreen wipers, parking sensors and Carminat Turn by Turn' satellite navigation system to ensure you waste no time in getting to the beach.

David Harry, Sales Manager at Callow Marsh said: "We're delighted to offer the stylish Clio Rip Curl to our younger customers, as well as the young-at-heart! The partnership between Renault and Rip Curl marks a shared passion for freedom and mobility, as well as a commitment to safety, and environmental issues."

The 1.2 16V 75 has carbon dioxide emissions of 139 g/km with a combined mpg of 47.9, putting it in band C for car tax, whilst the 1.5 dCi 68 emits just 120 g/km putting it in VED band B and offers a combined mpg of 62.8.

"The Clio Rip Curl is also 95% recyclable by weight which further demonstrates Renault's shared environmental concerns with Rip Curl," he added.

"Clio Rip Curl is fashionable, fun, stylish and practical, and is perfectly suited to active and adventurous lifestyles as well as younger drivers."

Priced from £9,595, Rip Curl is available to test drive now at Callow Marsh on Ross Road, 01432 353 377.
