MORE than 750 people from across Herefordshire have received a questionnaire from the NHS asking them about mental health services in the county.

They were sent out a month ago -- now Herefordshire Primary Care Trust is urging them to return them with the answers filled in.

Euan McPherson of the PCT said the views of patients were important to the health trust.

Last year it received a national NHS award for its commitment to listening to, and involving local people in the development and improvement of local care services.

"Please take the time to fill the questionnaire in and return it. It is a national, centrally co-ordinated survey and the results are vital in helping the PCT to improve services for mental health service users in Herefordshire. It is a great opportunity for people to let us know what they think about the care they receive,'' said Mr McPherson.
