CAMPAIGNERS for the Much Cowarne Church Bell Restoration Appeal and the trustees of Burley Gate Village Hall are organising a fun ride on Saturday, April 14.
The Much Cowarne parish ride will be about 12 miles, with the start at Panks Bridge Farm, Much Cowarne, nine miles from Hereford, signposted off the A465 Bromyard Road.
Riders will be riding through open fields, green lanes and apple orchards in blossom, which give stunning views across the Frome Valley.
First horse to leave at 10am, with the last horse at 1pm. There will be optional jumps, a hard standing trailer park and refreshments available.
Hereford Landrover has sponsored the event, with a rosette for all finishers.
Funds raised from the ride fees, which are adults £12, children under 16 £8, and pony club members £6, under 12s to be accompanied please, will be shared between Burley Gate Village Hall and Much Cowarne Church Bell Restoration Fund.
