THE South Herefordshire Hunt Supporters Club have a busy spring and summer programme of events lined up starting on Saturday.

This first event is a Fun Ride at Caradoc, Sellack, near Ross-on-Wye, starting at 10am. This is a popular ride of between eight and 10 miles on a private estate.

The ride is all off road with the exception of a couple of road crossings, which will be stewarded.

There are plenty of jumps - all optional - and also the chance to go up the all-weather gallop.

Refreshments will be available and a photographer will be situated on the course. Rosettes will be available for all riders.

The club is also holding six unaffiliated dressage evenings which will be running alongside Hereford and District Riding Club's popular show jumping evenings.

These start on Wednesday, April 11, at 5pm and continue throughout the summer on May 9, June 13, July 11, August 15 and September 12.

A second fun ride will be held at Treworgan Farm, Llangrove, later in the summer on Saturday, August 25, starting at 10am.

This ride is between 10 and 12 miles and has plenty of optional jumps and also a show jumping course halfway around the ride. Refreshments are available.

For more information, call Sue Probert on 01981 580562 regarding fun rides and Ruth Lee on 01989 770247 regarding dressage.
