AS Jeff Jones (right) takes over as president for 2015/16 from retiring president Arthur Rowe (left), St Ethelbert Probus looks forward to another successful year.

They have a range of members, with ages from 60s to 90s, representing all aspects of professional and business careers (Probus).

The club meets every Tuesday at the Cider Museum between 9.45am and 11.30am for coffee, followed by a varied and entertaining programme of speakers – the next few weeks include Mrs Phyl King - Galapagos - the Enchanted Isles, Cllr Anthony Johnson – Herefordshire Council and Prof David Briggs - In Search of the Father of Hi-Fi.

For the first time in several years, there are a few places available for new members, owing to some becoming life members as they have reached 90 years of age, or have been members for over 25 years.

So on June 2 they are holding an open morning when the Very Rev Michael Tavinor is speaking to the group.

Why not go along and see what happens and receive a very friendly welcome?
