A DISABLED Hereford man took on new heights to raise more than £1,000 for a local cause.
Elliot Evans, 25, who has cerebral palsy, completed a tandem skydive to raise funds for the Midlands Air Ambulance, in memory of a friend who was helped by the charity.
He handed over £1,190 to the charity last week but was surprised to return home to find an additional £20 had been donated – raising £1,210 in total.
"The skydive was the best experience I've ever had," he said.
"It was was due to be from 13,000 ft but I ended up jumping at 14,000 ft. The whole day was amazing."
