COUNCIL - Bodenham Parish Council will meet at the Siward James Centre on Monday at 7.30pm. All parishioners are welcome to attend.

REMEMBRANCE FAIR - Over the weekend of November 8 and 9, there will be a pre-Christmas remembrance weekend fair at Broadfield Court. It will be open from 11am to 4pm on both days and proceeds will go to ABF, the Soldiers’ Charity.

COFFEE - Lugg Valley Friends Cancer Research UK will be holding a coffee morning at the Siward James Centre from 10am to noon on Tuesday. All support would be welcomed.

BODENHAM LEISURE CLUB - The club will meet in Bodenham Parish Hall at 2.30pm on November 11. Members will enjoy a Christmas tea and then take part in a bingo session.

BODENHAM GARDENING CLUB - The next meeting will be on Tuesday in the parish hall.

Guest speaker Mary Stevenson will talk on ornamental trees for small gardens. New members are always welcome.

FLICKS IN THE STICKS - The next film in the season will be Quartet (12), on November 8, at 7.30pm in the parish hall. Doors open at 7pm. Admission remains at £4, payable on the door, and refreshments will be available during the interval.

SUNDAY LUNCH - To celebrate the opening of the hall’s refurbished kitchen, Bodenham Parish Hall management committee invites you to a three-course lunch on November 10, at 12.30pm for 1pm. Price to be confirmed.

CAFÉ@CHAPEL - This is an opportunity for anyone to call in for an informal chat over a cup of tea, coffee, etc on Thursdays at the Chapel. The Chapel is open from 10.30am until noon and you are welcome to stay for as long or as little as you wish. No charge is made for refreshments though donations are welcome and are given to a charity at the end of each year. This is a joint venture between St Michael's Church, Bodenham, and Bodenham Christian Fellowship and is hosted by members from both churches and other local residents.
