RARE documents shedding light on a 19th century Hereford football club have been put up for sale.
Hereford Thistle, formed in 1885, won the Birmingham and District League in 1896-97 and went on to win the Western League.
A photograph of that winning side – which includes local hero Jack Sharp – features in a celebratory champions bazaar programme put on bidding website eBay by John Eaton.
