PLANT SALE - The popular plant sale is at 2pm Saturday in the village hall. There is plenty of free parking. A selection of bedding plants, wild flowers, vegetable seedlings and herbs will be available at low prices. Tea, coffee or squash, plus biscuits are free but donations are very welcome. If you have plants for sale, please bring them to the hall between 10am and noon on Saturday, or to Hope Cottage before then if that would be more convenient. All profits go toward new hall curtains, which have been more expensive than expected.
The next open event planned is a strawberry and bubbly tea on July 6. Belly dancing happens each Monday evening, and linedancing each Wednesday evening – beginners welcome. To book the village hall for a function, at £6 per hour inclusive, please call Kathy on 01568 615149.
