VILLAGE TREASURE HUNT – On April 6-7 was great fun. The sun shone, lots of people took part, and many entries received a small prize. The limericks were brilliant. Everyone found that they saw the village in a new light. Thanks very much to the organizers Amanda and David Ingham, who staged the event free of charge as a happy get-together for the village.
Many thanks to everyone who brought cakes and goodies for the free tea party afterwards. Next event is the famous plant-sale on May 18, where there will be a wide selection of plants at low prices.
