VILLAGE HALL - Christmas bingo at the village hall on November 23 was well attended and raised £203 towards village hall funds.
PARISH PLAN - Work on the playing field focus group continued at a meeting held on November 22. The questionnaire seeking views from the village has been collected and analysed. It is clear that there is a great need for improvement of facilities for all age groups, including play equipment, sports opportunities, seating and adult fitness equipment. The group will be visiting other playing fields at the beginning of January to research equipment, and work on design. A grant has been received for basketball and tennis equipment. A meeting of the transport focus group has been held and the housing focus group was to meet yesterday (Wednesday). There is a social evening on December 13 at Innesfield at 7.30pm for networking and mince pies. All are welcome.
