VISIT Herefordshire has said it is "delighted" at the success of the Flavours of Herefordshire Food Festival.

The free event held on Saturday 27 Sunday 28 October in Hereford city included family foodie fun as well great local artisan producers, a hog and ox roast and of course demonstrations by Celebrity Chefs. All housed in a great pop-up city that appeared within a week of the festival starting.

The allpay Flavours of Herefordshire Festival welcomed 32,000 visitors over the two days. Exhibitors, retailers, visitors, sponsors and organisers alike are marking this festival as a great success with a positive impact on the economic environment in and around the area, as well as creating an amazing feel-good factor throughout.

Thanks to the Sponsors, Visit Herefordshire were able to ensure this was a free event throughout the City, with great street entertainment over the weekend for all to enjoy.

With a focus on cooking and food & drink exhibitors, plans are being developed to build on this wonderful success over the next 5 years. With key historical dates coming up, Visit Herefordshire plans for the Festival include celebrating the very best of the County.
