Hereford City Southside and Rural Southside neighbourhood policing team

Inspector Carl Paskin

Carl has been a police officer for 23 years. He has served in Telford, Redditch, Worcester and most recently Hereford. Much of his service has been in a 24 hour response role. Carl was a Safer Neighbourhood Team Sergeant for 3 years and has worked as a custody sergeant for a similar period. His favourite aspect of the job is the variety that comes with dealing with people from all walks of life.

Carl is a keen cyclist in the warmer months, often travelling long distances as part of a holiday.

Hi I'm Sergeant King.

I cover the safer neighbourhood policing teams for Hereford city centre, North Hereford and North Rural.

I was born and bred in Herefordshire and in 2005 after some time as a special constable in West Mercia I joined South Wales police.

I served 6 years in Cardiff on a variety of teams, mainly various neighbourhood policing teams. Before transferring back to Herefordshire in 2011.

Since 2011 I have policed most areas of Herefordshire, I am proud to serve the communities of Herefordshire.

PCSO Christina Howard has worked for West Mercia Police since 2007. Christina started her career working in Leominster Town, where she was based for 7 years before moving to Hereford. Christina is now part of the St Martins and Hinton Team based at South Wye Police Station.

PCSO Kirsty Jenkins joined West Mercia Police in March 2009. Kirsty covered the Three Elms and St Nicholas ward up until September 2013, she then moved onto the Hereford City Southside and rural beat where she currently covers the High Town area.

PCSO HOUSE joined West Mercia Police in June 2015 where she joined the Hereford City, Southside and Rural team. She has covered the City Centre/High Town patch since day 1.

PCSO Chris Yarwood began his career in policing in 2016 working in the South of Hereford. In 2018 Chris moved to the North Worcestershire area covering Redditch Town Centre, SNT Abbey. Chris will be focusing on local issues affecting Redditch town centre and will engage with the community locally and county wide.

PCSO Hayley Warne joined West Mercia in June 2015 having previously worked in retail. She joined South Wye SNT until March 2016 before being seconded for 12 months to the Rural, Business and Cyber Crime department where she learned numerous skills. Hayley is now back at South Wye SNT and is eager to share all that she has learned.
